Through a dedicated team approach, we strive to include Social, Economic, Environmental and Ethical considerations in our everyday business decisions.
Being a significant corporate entity, we are expected to demonstrate corporate social responsibility at a level that surpasses all stakeholder expectations.

B. K. Holdings Limited commitment to CSR is shown in several ways by:
• Helping customers improve their financial situation
• Aiming to be an employer of choice
• Satisfying shareholder expectations: A management committee reviews all donation requests
• Partnering with community groups to strengthen our society; we try to hire people from within our community; we have adopted the Preysal Government Primary School, Upper Carapichaima Presbyterian Primary School and Preysal High School.
• Honouring environmental and ethical standards: “The Environment is our future” – We service garbage bins at various points along the Freeport Mission Road at our own cost.
Through these efforts, we continue steady progress towards our CSR goals and remain focused on introducing new initiatives with the aim of preserving our environment and strengthening local communities.

At the same time, we will pursue profitable growth by linking our customers with our new services.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

B.K.  Holdings  Limited  operates  under  the  Health,  Safety,  Security  and  Environment  Management(HSSE)  programs,  plans  and  procedures.  These  international  standards  are  proof  positive  that  we consistently  supply  quality  services.  We have  a  responsibility  to  safeguard  our  people,  while contributing positively to the environment and the communities around us.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

In keeping with the corporate motto, “The Environment is our Future”, the entire company is working toward positive environmental impacts, by ensuring all waste is disposed in the best suitable manner based on considerations of the environment. BK Holdings Limited aims to operate business as a corporate citizen.  Our goal is to ensure that the company  facilities  and  operations  are  in  compliance  with  government  environmental  standards.  We believe that an appropriate balance can and should be achieved between environmental stewardship and economic goals which will bring us closer to realizing our vision.

OUR BUSINESS STRUCTURE

The  company  generates  direct  employment  for  over  three  hundred  (350)  people  in  our  twin  island Republic.  In  addition  to  our  current  base  operation  here  we  established  sub  offices  either  on site  or within close  proximity  to  where  our  major  contracts  are  being  carried  out.  We presently  have  a full operation in Canaan, Tobago.

ISO CERTIFICATION

We are presently pursuing ISO 9001 Certification with our deadline set to achieve this at November 2010.
